This year, the FCAAAL celebrates the tenth anniversary of what was the first competitive film section in Italy for films by Italian directors or resident in Italy, made in the three continents or which deal with the topics of immigration and intercultural dialogue, created with the aim of relating an Italy which interprets cultural diversity. The Competition comes into being from the collaboration with the Racism is a Nasty Story Association, laFeltrinelli bookstores and, from this year, with the participation of SIAE.
