Nidravathwam

written, directed and performed by Nimmy Raphael
english – 55 mins

Based on the adventures of Rama and his bride Sita in the Ramayana, one of the most important epic poems of the hindu religious and philosophical tradition, Nidravathwam tells the series of the events about Kumbakarna and Lakshmana, brothers each to the two protagonists of the poem, who are connected by boons that dramatically alter their cycles of sleep and wakefulness.
